ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Union was established by merging two companies, Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Company (established in 1976) and Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Enterprise (established in 1978).
Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Enterprise was renamed into Ben Tre Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company – Bepharco. At that time, Ben Tre – Bepharco Pharmaceutical Company’s main business was producing and trading pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.
Ben Tre Pharmaceutical & Medical Supplies Company – Bepharco converted into Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company – Bepharco, according to Decision No. 1541/QD-UB dated May 6th 2004, the State owned 51% of the charter capital.
The company issued 1 million shares (par value of vnd 10,000 per share) in accordance with the issue license No. 159/ UBCK-GCN issued by the State Securities Commission on August 30th, 2007. State ownership percentage reduced from 51% to 34%.
The Shares of Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Bepharco) was officially listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (stock code: DBT) according to the listing decision No. 657/QD-SGDHN dated 13/10/2009 issued by the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
December 2014: State shareholder completely divested in Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Bepharco), investors are favorable in deciding the strategic issues of Bepharco.
