61 years ago, on this very day, the first unnumbered ship officially docked at Thanh Phong - Ben Tre, carrying hundreds of tons of weapons and pharmaceuticals to support the resilient resistance of the Southern people. Coinciding with this significant event was the establishment of the Ben Tre Civil Medical Committee — the precursor of Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Bepharco).
