Vaginitis is a common and very common disease for women, especially women who have had sex. The vaginal environment is not a sterile environment, so vaginitis (also known as vaginal thrush ) usually occurs when the resident bacteria in the vagina are changed due to the introduction of an external pathogen or by changes in the vaginal flora.
The most common vaginal yeasts are Candida, Trichomonas vaginalis. The cause of fungal infection is due to improper hygiene of the intimate area, hormonal changes, and unhealthy sex.
Symptoms of vaginal yeast infection are easily confused with other gynecological diseases:
• Heavy discharge, yellow, green, or thick foam, or thin, effervescent.
• Vaginal itching, swelling, pain.
• Vaginal area has a bad smell.
• Sexual intercourse is painful, abnormal bleeding.
• Diarrhea, cold.
• Tiny red bumps appear on the genitals.
The fungus parasitic in the vagina, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, urethra, ureters, bladder, renal pelvis ... to cause disease. The condition can be mild, can be self-diagnosed, self-treated, self-healing, but it can also be severe, there may be complications such as uterine cancer, infertility...
Vaginal yeast also increases the risk of being infected with other sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea, syphilis, genital warts. Complications such as vulvovaginitis and vaginitis, appendicitis, urinary tract infection, pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility.
