- The Omicron variant is characterized by rapid spread. Currently, most countries have opened up, relaxing all epidemic prevention measures even in countries with high infections.
- At the same time, the exchange of travel after 3 years of the pandemic increased greatly, even in the country also increased communication. These exchanges have allowed the virus to spread to others.
In addition, the current weather is favorable for the development of the virus, people's consciousness, especially the wearing of masks in public places, medical examination and treatment facilities sometimes do not guarantee.
Third, in terms of response measures, Vietnam's effective weapons opened early from March 2022 because our country has covered vaccines against the COVID-19 epidemic very early.
- With the basic dose, the whole country has been covered almost 100% for people aged 12 and older, shots 3 and 4 also reach a high rate of 80-90%, the injection for children from 5 to - under 12 years old dose 1 is also up to 90%, dose 2 is nearly 70%.
- However, there are places where the vaccination rate has not reached the desired level, especially in high-risk subjects.
