On June 14th, Bepharco, in collaboration with the Department of Health and Gedeon Richter, organized the 2024 Clinical Pharmacy and Drug Information Conference.
In his opening address at the conference, Dr. Le Van Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, underscored the significance of clinical pharmacy activities in the objective of optimizing drug utilization, as outlined in Pharmacy Law 105/2016 and Government Decree 131/2020. This involves evaluating and balancing the benefits and risks, as well as the cost-effectiveness of treatment plans. It also includes monitoring adverse drug reactions (ADRs), reporting them to the National ADR Center and the Department of Health, and providing patients with medication counseling upon discharge.
