On September 23, 2025, Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Bepharco) and the Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City held a formal ceremony to sign a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement and inaugurate a state-of-the-art Pharmacy Practice Laboratory sponsored by Bepharco.

This event marks a significant milestone in strengthening the collaboration between industry and pharmaceutical education institutions, contributing to improved teaching, practical training, and research quality while equipping the next generation of pharmacists with a solid foundation for their future careers.

Practice Pharmacy” Model – GPP/GSP Standards in an Academic Training Environment

A key highlight of the program is the “Practice Pharmacy” model, where hundreds of students have the opportunity to observe, engage, and gain hands-on professional experience. The pharmacy and storage facilities are designed and operated in full compliance with GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) and GSP (Good Storage Practice) standards.

Here, students gain direct access to and practical experience with more than 200 diverse pharmaceutical and healthcare products, spanning cardiovascular, endocrine, neurological, respiratory, and gastrointestinal treatments, as well as vitamins, minerals, and traditional herbal medicines.

Notably, the entire facility and product inventory—valued at over 300 million VND—are fully produced and sponsored by Bepharco. This enables students not only to work directly with real products but also to develop essential skills in pharmaceutical counseling, pharmacy management, and day-to-day operations within an academic setting.

In a ceremonial setting, leaders of both organizations jointly performed the ribbon-cutting. Bepharco’s representative presented the symbolic “Key of Knowledge” to the university’s delegate, conveying the message: “Bepharco presents the Key of Knowledge—standing alongside the next generation of pharmacists.”

The event not only reaffirms the strategic and long-term partnership between Bepharco and the Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, but also paves the way for broader collaboration in education, scientific research, and innovation.
