On the afternoon of January 17, the People's Voice of Ho Chi Minh City (VOH) in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health held a press conference on the 2023 Vietnam Medical Achievement Award with the theme: Intensive Medical Development.
This is the fourth consecutive year that VOH and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health have coordinated to organize the award to express gratitude and honor the scientific value and contributions of the team of physicians to community health.
Dr. Nguyen Van Vinh Chau, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, said that the Vietnam Medical Achievement Award aims to spread medical achievements to the public. These medical achievements are applicable and transferable before being selected.
This is an award jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio Station (VOH) and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to honor the valuable community medical contributions of the team of Vietnamese physicians.
In 2023, with the theme "Intensive Medical Development", the award attracted 86 medical projects to register to participate from 42 units, district medical centers and hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City. , Long An and Hau Giang. After being evaluated by the Professional Council, the 20 best projects were selected to enter the voting round.
From these 20 nominations, the organizing committee said they will select 10 outstanding achievements, expected to be honored on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27. Total prize of 500 million VND, along with a trophy and certificate of Vietnam Medical Achievement 2023.
The public can follow and vote for specialized medical projects on the VOH ecosystem. The voting results will determine 10 outstanding achievements that will be awarded at the 2023 Vietnam Medical Achievement Awards Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on February 26, 2024 at VOH Music One Theater.
The Vietnam Medical Achievement Award is an annual event jointly organized by VOH and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health since 2020. This year, the award is accompanied by Ben Tre Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Bepharco) - Enterprises always focus on implementing social responsibility to the community. The award aims to express gratitude and honor the scientific value and contributions of the team of physicians to public health.
At the press conference, Bepharco also displayed typical products to widely introduce to physicians and doctors who are heads of medical projects attending the program.
The public can vote for specialized medical projects through two portals: call center message or Facebook social network. Voting period starts from 10am on January 26, 2024 to 10am on January 30, 2024.
